2009 MACUL Conference Photo Contest
Please enter your best photo of the MACUL Conference 2009. Entries are limited to conference participants and attendees during Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday March 19. Submit entries before 7:00 AM Friday, March 20. All entries should be submitted online via MACUL Space (www.maculspace.ning.com) with the tag— MACULphoto. Those submitting photos for this contest grant MACUL the option and permission to publish the images on the MACUL website, MACUL Space and in the MACUL Journal. Judges will award prizes for 1st and 2nd place.

1st place—Complimentary registration to the 2010 MACUL conference

2nd place—50% off the cost of registration to the 2010 MACUL conference

We are looking for a variety of creative photos that capture the excitement and uniqueness of the conference. Enter and display your best pictures!

MACUL’s Special Interest group for Multimedia (SIGMM) has recently announced their annual multimedia contest, leading up the to big conference in March. I apologize for not posting this sooner, but you can find details both on their site or MACUL Space. If you have students in grades K-12 that are working on, or have recently completed a digital story, podcast, or other multimedia project, consider entering and show off how hard your students’ have been working.

SIGMM’s 2009 Contest Is Underway!

Have your students created some outstanding technology integrated projects you want to share with others? If so…

The Multimedia Special Interest Group (SIGMM) of MACUL is hosting its 2009 Multimedia Contest for Michigan Students during the months of January & February.

Entries will be accepted in each of 3 categories:

* Digital Storytelling (Grades K-4),
* Multimedia (Grades 5-8),
* Enhanced Podcasting (Grades 9-12).

Contest applications from sponsoring teachers are due between Jan. 5 and midnight Feb. 9, 2009; teachers may sponsor up to 3 entries.
